They Should Lose Their License to do BusinessKlutts Property Management should not be allowed to practice in North Carolina! They never visit the properties they manage and do not communicate with the owners of the property. I used them as a management company for a rental house and the only way I ever found out tenants were not paying their rent was when I didn't receive my monthly payment from them. I would contact Klutts and find out the tenant was not paying,. Twice I received 1 line emails saying, "Eviction is in progress." This being the first time I knew eviction was being considered. The last tenant they put in my house, was such a disaster that I cannot afford to make the more than $20K in repairs. Klutts told me there were 3 adults living in the house, with no pets. In reality there were 10 people (adults & children) and 7 dogs living in a 3 bed-room house. After they were evicted (and NO one from Klutts was present at the eviction...so they never even saw the house), I discovered the house was so disgusting and damaging that it is almost beyond repair. The smell was so bad because the dogs had been allowed to pee inside that I don't know if it will ever be the same. The back deck was covered in garbage and the front yard was filled with trash. These tenants lived there for 14 months, but apparently no one from Klutts ever paid them a visit. They seemed completed unaware AND completely unconcerned with I presented them with the situation and photos. Instead they sent me a bill for $120 for property management for August 2014.
They should not be allowed to manage property any where in North Carolina!
