Ms. Edney was the selling agent on a bank owned house I recently purchased. She was unprofessional, unwilling to answer basic questions about timelines with the bank that owned the property, and strong-armed myself and the realtor who represented us. She used her position as the representative/selling agent of a home that was a great deal to make us feel threatened and powerless. She told us, my real estate agent, and our mortgage company that we were not allowed use USDA loan. After the mortgage company contacted her to clarify this with her, she turned the discussion into one about religion and God. The bank that owned the property gave us a $750 allowance for a stove that was to be purchased and installed before closing. She instructs her employees to find the cheapest, acceptable stove, then they can keep the leftover money. I expected at $750 stove, and got a $400 stove instead. I confronted her about this and was provided a fake invoice from her "maintenance guy". I then tracked down the store it was purchased and was given the receipt. My experience buying my first home was incredibly unpleasant. She is in a position that regularly encounters people who need guidance and information. I hope others do not experience the same when dealing with her and her company.
